In September 1506 Kemal Reis confronted a Spanish fleet for defending Djerba and captured a Spanish galley during combat. في سبتمبر 1506 قام كمال ريس بمواجهَة أسطول إسباني دفاعا عن قاعدته في جربة وأَسرَ سفينة إسبانية أثناء المعركة.
Near the port of Abu Kabir he captured 2 Portuguese ships (one galleon and one barque) after fierce fighting which lasted 2 days. تمكن كمال ريس قُرْب ميناءِ أبو قير من أَسر سفينتين برتغاليتينَ (سفينة غليون وسفينة شراعية) بعد قتال عنيف دامَ يومين.
From there Kemal Reis sailed southwest and landed on several of the Canary Islands, where the Ottomans faced moderate opposition from the Spanish forces. ومِنْ هناك إتجه كمال ريس إلى المنطقة الجنوبية الغربيةَ وهَبطَ على عِدّة جزر مِنْ جزر الكناري، حيث واجهَ العُثمانيون بعض المقاومة مِن القواتِ الإسبانية.
In September 1505 Kemal Reis assaulted Sicily and captured 3 ships (one from the Republic of Ragusa, the other two from Sicily) off the Sicilian coast. في سبتمبر من العام 1505 هاجم كمال ريس جزيرة صقلية وقام بأَسر 3 سُفنِ (واحدة تملكها جمهورية راغوزا،والإثنتان الأخرىان تابعة لصقلية) قبالة ساحلِ صقلية.
In August 1501 Kemal Reis and his troops landed at Sardinia and captured several coastal settlements while taking around 1,050 prisoners during fights against the local forces. في أغسطس 1501 هبط كمال ريس وقوَّاته في ساردينيا وسيطر على عِدّة قرى ساحلية وأسر حوالى 1,050 شخصا خلال القتالِ ضدّ القواتِ المحليّةِ.
In March 1503 Kemal Reis set sail from Constantinople with his new ships and reached Gallipoli where he took over the command of the Ottoman fleet that was based there. في مارس 1503 أبحر كمال ريس مِن إسطنبول بسُفنِه الجديدةِ ووصل إلى غاليبولى حيث تولى قيادةِ الأسطولِ العُثمانيِ الذي يتمركز هناك.
